This database contains information on the Institutions
of Higher Education in the state that offer early
childhood programs for those interested in earning
a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential for
credits, an Associate’s Degree (A.S., A.A., A.A.S.),
or a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.). The early childhood/child
development programs included in this database are
offered in local community colleges, private colleges,
and universities. The information provided in this
database was collected from a self-report online
survey and is updated annually.

Initial data collected from
each of the included Institutions of Higher Education
were gathered during the Spring and Summer months
of 2004. Reporting respondents were department chairs
or faculty with knowledge of their institution's
program. Data are updated each year in July-September.
