T.E.A.C.H. Updates
The Teacher Education and Compensation Helps (T.E.A.C.H.) Early Childhood® Scholarship Program is a comprehensive scholarship program that provides the early childhood workforce with access to educational opportunities. By promoting higher education, T.E.A.C.H. is helping to establish a well-qualified, fairly-compensated and stable workforce for Florida's children. Operated through the Children's Forum and funded by Florida's Office of Early Learning and The Children's Trust, T.E.A.C.H. provides scholarships for child care practitioners to work towards earning an Associate or Bachelor degree in early childhood education, a Florida Staff Credential or a Director Credential.

"I am a participant in the T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Scholarship Program. This program first enabled me to achieve my Child Development Associate Credential. Getting an education in Early Childhood Development enables us to bring quality into our childcare centers. I know it's been said many times, but children are our future. They deserve the best that we can offer and programs like T.E.A.C.H. allow them to get the best qualified teachers available. Most childcare center employees cannot afford to pursue their education out of their own pocket. I am currently attending school for my Director's Credential.
