Army Child Care in Your Neighborhood

The United States Army and the National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (NACCRRA) have partnered to offer the Army Child Care in Your Neighborhood (ACCYN) program, which assists local Army families with access to high-quality and affordable child care. ACCYN is administered by the Children's Forum in Miami-Dade and serves families stationed at the United States Southern Command (US SOUTHCOM) headquarters.

ACCYN was created to meet the high demand for child care by Army families in their communities. The program's main goal is to increase the availability of high-quality, off-post child care options for Army families. The Children's Forum achieves this goal by maintaining a network of qualified civilian child care programs that are comparable in both quality and price to the programs found on military installations.

The Children's Forum is one of 12 organizations located throughout the United States administering the Army Child Care in Your Neighborhood program for local Army families. Other program locations include Colorado, Kansas, Kentucky, New York, Texas, Washington, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.

For more information about ACCYN, or other child care programs for military families, visit NACCRRA's website at http://www.naccrra.org/MilitaryPrograms/ or call the Children's Forum at 1-888-FL-CHILD.
