Director of Programs and Research
Location: Tallahassee, FL
The Children's Forum has a position opening for the Director of Programs and Research. This position is located in Tallahassee, FL and supervises the Quality Counts Career Center, AmeriCorps Project and Professional Development Registry in Miami-Dade County. The position also assists in grant writing and conducts research as required. An advanced degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field plus five years experience in the field, and knowledge/experience with research tools such as SPSS and Nvivo preferred. Career Advisor
Location: Miami, FL
The role of the career advisor is to recruit child care practitioners for participation in the training registry, assist in developing career goals and accessing educational opportunities to improve their knowledge, skills and abilities in working with young children. This position is expected to work approximately 80% of the time in the field (child care and preschool centers) and approximately 20% of the time performing administrative and other necessary duties. Must have a BA in Early Childhood Education or related field. Fluency in Spanish preferred.
