Child Care WAGE$^® FLORIDA Project

Manatee County

To be eligible for at least one six-month supplement payment during the fiscal year, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Work in a school readiness early care and education program (center, family child care home or school based program). Please check with your center owner or director for center eligibility.
• Earn less than $17.50 per hour as an early care and education practitioner
• Have one of the education levels listed on the scale (from a regionally accredited college)
• Work at least six month in the same early care and education program
• Be employed at this same program at the time of employment confirmation
• Work with a consistent group of children birth to five years of age for at least 20 hours a week
• Center owners/directors currently do not qualify
